Wyatt + Brianna | October Oaks Farm
When Brianna asked me to photograph her and Wyatt’s wedding at October Oaks Farm in Webster, Florida…I was SO honored. OF COURSE I SAID YES. Brianna is a wedding planner herself, and every single element was so thought out and intentional. Not only was the day laid back & fun, she had so many fun details throughout. I loved her use of blue in such a fresh new way.
If any of my upcoming wedding couples are thinking of a blue palette - THIS is the blog post for you to read. From the blue couches in the cocktail hour, to the pastel blue in her floral arrangement…the colors were perfectly executed and subtle.
I also was obsessed with her choice of venue. October Oaks Farm was a nice change of scenery from my usual tropical weddings. I love them all, don’t get me wrong. But the upscale farmhouse aesthetic was a beautiful backdrop for Brianna and Wyatt’s big day.
Brianna spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids. They had the chicest matching PJS, and you know we popped some champagne outside to start the celebration! After she was fully glammed up in her bridal attire, she opted to do a first look with her father. When I tell you there was not a dry eye!!! Her father wore his full Marine uniform and definitely teared up seeing his daughter as a bride. Brianna also cried and it was such a wholesome, sentimental moment. I looooved being able to be there to capture it all. (My job never gets old!!)
After her first look with her father, Brianna met with her husband-to-be. He had an equally emotional reaction turning around to see his girl standing there in her gown. Their big day was finally happening and you could just TELL how in love they truly are.
We made sure to get some images of the wedding party before the ceremony, so the newlyweds could focus on getting to their reception afterwards. I LOVED her bridesmaids dresses, they looked so incredible. Especially against the scenery at October Oaks Farm. Brianna knows her stuff! She did so good creating these looks.
The ceremony was held outside under large trees, and a custom alter. These two were SO READY to be married and it was fun to see their family and friends cheer them on. After they were officially Mr. and Mrs. - we snuck away for some couples portraits during golden hour. Their guests mingled in a beautiful cocktail hour while we were gone.
After their portraits, they danced into their reception and got the party started with their friends! When I tell you not to miss all the amazing details Brianna planned for the reception - I mean you NEED to scroll to the bottom to see them all. Brides - take notes! From the vinyl guest book, to the understand, elegant table decorations…it was chefs kiss .
These two danced the night away in celebration, and it was beyond an honor to be their Florida wedding photographer. Brianna and Wyatt - wishing you the very best life as husband and wife!! Thank you for choosing me to document your day!
