Taylor + Levi | Engagement Session at Koreshan State Historic Site
When Taylor and Levi reached out to me about doing their engagement photos at the Koreshan State Historic Site…I was excited! I love shooting in Fort Myers, but I don’t get to shoot here often, so it was fun to explore a new location with these two lovebirds.
This venue was full of sprawling lawns, gorgeous oversized trees, and a beautiful estate. All of which gave us beautiful backdrop. Taylor and Levi opted for white attire, and I loved the whole look. Taylor’s makeup was soft & romantic, but still looked natural. Her hair was in long beachy waves, and the look was completed by her white a-line dress. She looked so bridal, but in the perfect subtle way. Levi let his outfit compliment his bride-to-be with navy chinos and a white button down. I always tell the guys to go simple and neutral, so the girls can shine in the engagement session outfits. I know it’s 10x harder for my brides to pick their outfits!! So we center the looks around them :)
We started our shoot at the large estate on the property at Koreshan State Historic Site, and I had these two walk down the pathway hand in hand. I love these walking shots at my engagement sessions because they capture little real-life moments, as if you’re just going for a walk with your significant other. I want my couples to look back on these images and see a snapshot of their lives as FIANCÉS 🤩
After we wandered around the estate, we took some photos with the shiplap side of the house as our backdrop. I wanted to make sure we included some white elements to compliment their outfits. Then, during golden hour we pivoted to get images with the BEAUTIFUL trees on the property.
Taylor and Levi, thank you for trusting me to be your Florida engagement session photographer! I’m so glad we got to shoot at the Koreshan State Historic Site, and I’m so excited to see you two get married!!
