Jenna + Dan | Marco Beach Ocean Resort Florida Wedding

If you’re a Florida bride, you’re going to want to scroll all the way through this BEAUTIFUL day at Marco Beach Ocean Resort on Marco Island. As a Florida wedding photographer, this venue blew me away. From the stunning oceanside ceremony spot, to the fun architectural aspects for bride & groom portraits. The Sale e Pepe Restaurant was an amazing reception area on-site as well. 10/10 recommend.

But let’s talk about Jenna + Dan, because WOW. They were amazing. I knew as soon as they first emailed me to inquire about me photographing their wedding, it was going to be an amazing day. These two are just fun and full of life. They are the type of people who are in-the-moment. Soaking up every second. As a photographer, there is nothing better. Documenting the love of two people who are totally present and engaged with each other!

We started off their big day at Marco Beach Ocean Resort with them getting ready separately. But they opted for a first look, so their AMAZING wedding coordinator (seriously, shout out to Hakuna Matata Weddings) and I coordinated them meeting in the garden area. I never get tired of photographing that reveal moment. Dan was so emotional and moved by seeing his girl… as his bride. It was so sweet!

After the first look, we had the most beautiful ceremony right on the beach. Dan and Jenna opted for a simple arch, and let the ocean do most of the talking as far as backdrop. LOVE. They said “I do”, and all their friends and family cheered so loudly. Talk about a happy occasion!!

While the guests started cocktail hour, I stayed on the beach with the newlyweds, and we got some portraits of them together. Basking in that “omg we’re husband and wife!!!” glow. I’ll literally never get tired of couples portraits on the beach. Especially on Marcos Island. Sooo so pretty.

They shared a toast, and then we went back to their reception at Sale e Pepe Restaurant. They danced the night away with their loved ones. And we even snuck away, right as sunset, for those golden hour photos on the beach.
