Liz + Evan | Destination Beach Wedding

You know your Destination Beach Wedding is a success when it feels more like a vacation! Liz & Evan wanted a laid back feel with their guests to celebrate their nuptials. I was so pumped when they hired me to be their Florida wedding photographer, because I knew this was exactly my vibe.

These two stayed at the resort with their friends and family, and opted for an intimate ceremony right on the water. They spent the morning getting ready with their loved ones, and then did a first look together before saying “I Do”. Evan’s face when he saw Liz as his bride!!! Make sure you scroll to see. You can tell these two are just made for each other. They are just full of joy and have that comfortable familiarity between them that you know means they are soul mates. I absolutely loved the entire time we got to hang out.

Their ceremony was so heartfelt, and you could sense that everyone watching was a true supporter of their relationship and invested in their lives. They said their vows in front of a circular floral arch, and Evan even surprised Liz with a live painter for their ceremony! She painted a scene from this amazing moment that they can hang in their living room. You know I’m always a fan of having your favorite memories displayed on your walls! Isn’t this the sweetest groom gift ever?

Liz wanted lots of color and tropical florals for their beach destination wedding, and it was stunning. I loved the coral bridesmaid dresses combined with the khaki and white groomsmen color palette. Weddings are trending back to bright colors, and I’m here for it!

After these two became newlyweds (!!), we stopped to take some beautiful golden hour photos on the beach. I think you can sense their “WE JUST GOT MARRIED” joy in the photos, don’t you think!? Their family and friends enjoyed a cocktail hour while we shot, and then- we started the party!! The dance floor was unhinged in alllll the best ways! The joy was just unbelieveable, and I felt so lucky to be the one capturing it all.

Liz & Evan left their beach destination wedding through a sparkler exit, and closed out the best day of their lives.
