Krista + Brandon | Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center
I feel like it was just yesterday I was blogging Krista + Brandon’s engagement session on the beach, and now I get to blog their wedding at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center!!
And talk about a WEDDING DAY! These two know how to party! We had a total blast! I also got to shoot with some of my favorite vendors (see below), and the day was an absolute breeze.
We started off with each of them getting ready with their friends. Krista popped champagne with her girls on the rooftop before slipping into her dress. She had the most gorgeous gown with a floor-length veil. She was every bit the bride!
They chose to do a first look indoors at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. There are so many beautiful spots at this local venue - I always LOVE shooting here for that reason. Brandon was so sweet and emotional when he saw his girl. There’s nothing like that moment of realization… we’re getting married today! It’s so fun to capture every time.
Their ceremony was outside on the steps of the building. Complete with ornate flowers and gold chairs. The details were so intentional and perfectly complimented the beautiful structure of their venue. Krista walked across the street and down the aisle to meet her man. And the two said “I Do” under perfect skies with all their loved ones supporting them. The joy was palpable.
After they were OFFICIALLY NEWLYWEDS (!!!) we crossed the street for some fun wedding party photos with their bridal party. Everyone was bouncing off the walls with excitement for these two. I could already tell then: we were about to have a fun reception.
The ballroom was decorated with white and gold accents for the reception. From the live band to the glow sticks on the dance floor… it. was. a. vibe. The newlyweds shared a first dance before doing toasts and dinner with their guests. Then everybody danced the night away.
Talk about a dream, breezy, wonderful wedding day!!
