Bianca + Peter | Miami Wedding at Villa Woodbine

Bianca and Peter had the MOST amazing Miami Wedding at Villa Woodbine! I cannot say enough amazing things about this couple - and their venue!! The whole day was perfect, and it all came together to the amazing backdrop of this stunning Florida wedding venue.

I asked Bianca about their day while preparing to shoot the wedding, and here’s what she wrote:

Peter and I have been together for 10 years, all of which has been long-distance from the UK to US. We've known for a very long time that we wanted to get married, but wanted to wait until I was done with pharmacy school to have the wedding of our dreams! We've been through so much together - we already feel married, but are so excited to celebrate with our family and friends. Our overall wedding vibe is romantic light, soft colors with a touch of British theming. We will be incorporating Peter's family scottish tartan that has been used in Clan Burnett since the clan was formed in the 1500s.

If you can’t tell from that- their big day was so infused with personal meaning. As a Florida wedding photographer, I love shooting days that are just authentic and personalized. I have had the benefit of working with SO many amazing couples who bring their own twist to their days.

And this Miami wedding at Villa Woodbine was exactly that.

Bianca and Peter got ready separately with their respective friends and family. Bianca had the most stunning lace getting ready dress, make sure you check it out when scrolling through. 10/10 recommend for those pre-wedding photos!

Then the two met up for a first look on the lawn of the venue. Seeing Peter’s reaction was so special to capture. You can tell these two have so much love for one another!

The ceremony was outdoors on the lawn, under the sprawling tree with twinkle lights. The rose petal aisle was the perfect compliment to the whole vibe. They incorporated Scottish traditions into the ceremony, and it was awesome to see their cultures represented that way.

Once they said “I do” everyone cheered and the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle!

After the ceremony, Bianca and Peter made time to walk through the reception space before the guests arrived. They had put SO much thought and detail into the whole ambiance. From the candlelit dinner to the gold accents and white roses… the whole thing was elevate, elegant and unique. I included a lot of photos from the reception set-up because it was just so special.

The evening was kicked off with an intimate dinner with their guests, and then the party began! The dancing was so much fun to capture, and you could tell the newlyweds were on cloud 9! Their sparkler exit was so full of joy!
