Mitchell + Lauren | Ritz Carlton Sarasota
I absolutely LOVE shooting at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota, and capturing Mitchell and Lauren’s day was an absolute dream!! They truly have the most incredible support system of family and friends, and everyone was so wonderful and made the day go so smoothly! I loved how everyone came together to support the incredible couple! Truly one of the most enjoyable wedding days I have ever done as a photographer!!
Lauren and Mitchell both grew up in different states, and met on a dating app during the pandemic. While they were talking online, they were shocked to realize they had a close, mutual friend, and that friend was ECSTATIC they were going on a date!
Lauren shared with me the text conversation she had with her friend about her upcoming first date, and it was SO sweet! She said, "I texted her (my friend) asking if she knew Mitchell, and she said, 'I had no idea he lived in Atlanta. Go on a date with him, and even if you don't like him like that, he'll be your best friend!' This was the first date both of us had ever been on using a dating app." It seems like it was meant to be!! Their first date was a picnic in the park, and Mitchell proposed to Lauren at that same park two years later!!
Fast-forward to their wedding day at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota, and we all had such an incredible time!! The stage was set by the luxe invitations from Jerry & Julep, and the Ritz Carlton Sarasota was the perfect backdrop for the gorgeous floral arrangements by Beneva Weddings. Palacio Events and Evermore Events and Signs brought together the entire look and feel of the day, and the whole effect was stunning!
Lauren looked amazing in her dress from the incredible Bridals by Aimee, and her hair and makeup were done by the talented Sarasota Beauty Bar, and Jess Marie Makeup.
The couple danced the night away on the spacious the Ritz Carlton ballroom dance floor, and the incredible live music was provided by Noah Grey Music!! Their amazing family and friends cheered them on as the happy couple started their new life together after a celebration they would never forget!!
