Kenzie + Chase | The Alderman House in Fort Myers

Kenzie and Chase’s wedding day at The Alderman House in Fort Myers felt like something straight out of a movie. The kind where the hometown sweethearts actually find their way back to each other. You know the one!

These two met back in elementary school (yes, elementary 🥹), grew up in the same neighborhood, and were even high school sweethearts for a bit. Life took them in different directions for a few years, but as Kenzie put it, “ever since that night we reconnected with friends… we’ve been together every day since.”

It felt like their big day was so full-circle and heartfelt as their love story. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Kenzie and Chase created a day that was relaxed, intentional, and so full of love.

They got ready for their nuptials in their respective suites, with their friends nearby. It was everything you’d want from a wedding morning; laid back and fun, full of laughter. After they were officially ready… these two lovebirds met up in a gorgeous courtyard for their first look. The tears were flowing, and their love was just palpable. These two childhood sweethearts were finally about to get MARRIED! Moments like this always remind me why I lovelovelove being a Florida wedding photographer. Documenting your stories never gets old!

We pivoted from the first look and got ready for the gorgeous ceremony on the lawn at The Alderman House in Fort Myers.

The florals were impeccable and the ceremony space was something out of a fairytale dream. With palm trees and blue skies, this was a quintessential Florida wedding. Give me more, please!

After these two were newlyweds (!!!), we snuck away from some bride and groom portraits around the grounds. Can we have a moment for The Alderman house? Because WHAT a stunning venue. Historic charm, Spanish-style architecture, dreamy palm-lined paths, and the kind of light that makes every photo feel golden.

It's hands-down one of my favorite venues in Southwest Florida, and it fit Kenzie and Chase’s vibe perfectly.

From the courtyard ceremony to the breezy patio reception, every part of the day was filled with warmth and ease. Their planner (who I love working with) made sure the whole thing flowed so smoothly, which meant the couple got to truly be present and soak up every moment.

The reception was every bit the party! From the fun Marquee letter feature, to the gorgeous cake - everything was so thoughtful. Kenzie changed into a two piece white dress for dancing, and it was definitely a Pinterest-coded reception dress if I’ve ever seen one. She looked BEAUTIFUL.

Kenzie and Chase, thank you for letting me be part of your story. You two are proof that the best things in life are worth the wait
